19-05-2013 Merrist wood Summer show was a great day out for our

team. Thank you all for your kind words of

encouragement and the donations made on the day.

The team had a great day out and hopefully will be

invited back again.

07-05-2013 The team had a very productive day at Brooklands

Museum. We met lots of people and the winching

compettion seemed a very popular attraction. Thank you

all for coming by and saying hello. See you all next

12-03-2013 April team meeting was well attended as is the norm.
Thanks to all that attended.

13-03-2013 Next meeting on Tuesday 9th April 2013 20:00

13-03-2013 Another team meeting with a good attendance and
good discussions on the call outs over the last 48 hours.

19-02-2013 Next Team meeting on the 12th March at The Haywain
all are welcome.

16-02-2013 9 Members completed the BORDA Certified Winching
Course run by Pro Driver Training. We are pleased
that all members passed.

09-02-2013 Another successful First Aid course completed by
Responders and Support members alike. Great work
guys we can all breath a little safer now.

05-02-2013 A few mentions in January in the Press. Surrey Matters
page 6 and the Daily Telegraph mentions us too.
Well done team.

14-01-2013 Happy New year one and all. The AGM was very well

attended. A new secretary was elected, Gil Martin.

Good luck not that you need it. Our thanks must go to

Patrick Molloy for all his hard work in that role.

Hospice to Hospice cycle ride for Shooting Star Chase.

21/05/2012 SY4x4R Attended the Merrist Wood Country fair on the
19th May. Hopefully should have some pics up soon.

20/05/2012 SY4x4R were at Brooklands Emergency Services Day
                  although it was a little damp we raised some funds and
                  met a lot of very nice people. Thank you for your
                  donations and we are very pleased to announce the
                  winner of our Tirfor Winch Challenge as Mr D Lewis.
                  Congratulations to him and thank you all who took
                  part. Here’s to next year.

20/04/2012 SY4x4R will be attending the Brooklands Emergency
                  Services day 2012. Bank Holiday Monday 7th May

                  Challenge.

15-12-2011 SY4x4R have agreed to take part in SCC

Twitterthon when the bad weather arrives. The idea

is for SCC staff and SY4x4R volunteers to share

info on local road conditions and weather updates

via twitter. SY4x4R have been using twitter for this

purpose for over a year now to good effect. More

details to follow..
